In the city of Groningen you can attend IJAR activities as well. We’ve had sjabbat dinners, Purim parties, Chanuka dinners, regular meals, karaoke, and…..much fun! In 2019-2020 the activities will be organised by David Gurov. If you are interested in joining the activities, please don’t hesistate to contact us. There is a Facebook group in which approximately every six weeks a new activity is being introduced. Feel free to join!
- Groningen has a small but active community of jewish students.
- There is an orthodox synagogue minyan twice a month and there are usually around 20 to 30 people there
- There is no Jewish student housing in Groningen
